Berluti has announced the departure of its artistic director Alessandro Sartori after a five-year collaboration with the Parisian brand. The fall / winter 2016collection that was presented in Paris on January 22 at the Musée des Arts Decoratifs will be his last collection designed by Berluti.

In November 2011, Sartori has launched the first collection of prêt-à-Porter Berluti, transforming the shoe company into an international luxury lifestyle brand.

“I am very proud to have had the opportunity to develop this extraordinary company,” said Sartori. “I want to thank Antoine Arnault and Berluti for the trust you have placed in me.”

The origins of the Maison Berluti date back to 1895 in Paris and were strengthened by four successive generations of the Berluti family, who has cultivated a unique know-how in the art of footwear production, a deep understanding of elegant shoes and a passion for leather.
