American Eagle Promotes Kessler, Foyle to Brand Presidents

American Eagle Outfitters American Eagle Outfitters Inc. promoted two of its chief merchants to global brand presidents. As presidents, Chad Kessler, the chief merchandising officer of its American Eagle Outfitters brand and Jennifer Foyle, the chief merchandising officer of its Aerie brand, will continue to report to executive creative director Roger Markfield, but with “realigned” support teams under them.

Kessler has been with the company as chief merchant since February 2014, joining from Abercrombie & Fitch. Foyle joined Aerie as chief merchant in 2010. She has worked for Gap and was chief merchandising officer for women’s at J. Crew.
