AMI AND CANNES’ CRITICS’ WEEK CELEBRATE THE GRAND PRIX AMI PARIS

AMI held a luncheon celebrating Le Grand Prix AMI Paris and supporting the film directors in competition at Critics’ Week. The luncheon was held alongside the Cannes Film Festival, at Fred L’Ecailler, one of the city’s iconic restaurants.
AMI continues its commitment to cinema, creativity and young talents. This year, the Parisian House is the main partner of the 64th edition of Critics’ Week, a parallel section of the Cannes Festival, through the Grand Prix AMI Paris. Critics’ Week is dedicated to the discovery of young cinematic talent, with a special focus on first and second films.
The luncheon was attended by Alexandre Mattiussi, Founder and Creative Director of AMI, and Nicolas Santi-Weil, CEO of AMI, along with Ava Cahen, Critics’ Week’s Artistic Director. Guests also included actors and filmmakers who are friends of the House: Leila Bekhti, Céline Sallette, Kasia Smutniak, Clotilde Courau, Stephane Bak and Hunter Doohan and the 2025 Critics’ Week jury including Daniel Kaluuya. Eventually, the directors competing in the Feature and Short Film categories, as well as Critics’ Week’s Executive Committee, joined in this celebration in their honor.
