AMI TEAMS UP WITH EASTPAK ON BAG CAPSULE
Parisian fashion house AMI has teamed up with American lifestyle brand Eastpak on a new capsule collection of bags.
The new collection is a textbook study of how to combine Eastpak’s no-nonsense approach to functional design with Alexandre Mattiussi’s signature play on color, form, and proportionality. Each of the three styles in the collection features Eastpak’s classic black nylon fabric juxtaposed with vibrant colors and prints straight from the AMI fall/winter ‘17 collection.
Adding a contemporary twist to some of Eastpak’s most iconic shapes in the process, the collection includes the iconic padded backpack ($220), a military-inspired topload backpack in black nylon ($250) and leather ($815) styles, and the oversized banana waistpack ($195).
