M. SingerBloomington, Indiana-based men’s specialty store Andrew Davis Clothiers hosted the first-ever pop-up shop for American sportswear brand M. Singer in its store for the month of April.

Owner Andy Mallor discovered M. Singer this past season during men’s market, and was immediately impressed with the quality and approachability of the line. He invited Singer to the store to test out the product, and has since placed a full order for fall delivery.

“I jumped at the opportunity to set up shop at Andrew Davis,” says Matthew Singer, founder and designer of M. Singer. “Our product resonated well with their customers.”

Mallor confirmed this sentiment adding: “The M. Singer pop-up shop had a great reception. We sold through long sleeve henleys and already had to restock. The line fits perfectly in a niche that we were missing – great after-office wear that’s approachable for every guy.”

Singer started his own business, M. Singer Consulting, in late 2013 after serving as fashion director at luxury department stores Neiman Marcus Group and Bloomingdale’s. He initially launched M. Singer apparel exclusively with Gilt Group and Bloomingdales, and has since opened up distribution this season to men’s specialty retailers around the country.
