April Showers

by Harry Sheff

We’ve been seeing more snow around here lately, but (hopefully), just in time for upcoming April showers is Stutterheim, a new Swedish raincoat collection. After finding one of his grandfather’s old fisherman jackets, Alexander Stutterheim was inspired to create a modern version of the classic style. The small, unisex collection is made of rubberized cotton and available to the U.S. market in two styles. The Arholma is hand-stitched and lined with cotton viscose for $730 retail. The Stockholm is welded and unlined for $315 retail. Stutterheim is currently sold at Project 8 in New York City, will be available at Unionmade and Barneys this spring, and at Steven Alan for fall 2013.
