ART MEETS FASHION
It’s always wonderful for an apparel brand to sell a lot of stuff, but it’s even more wonderful to inspire a painting. Here, from tonight’s group exhibition entitled “Sneakers on a Wire” at the Walton Gallery in Petersburg VA, an oil and acrylic painting by 25-year-old Richmond, VA-based artist Jeromyah Jones entitled “Adams’ Sneakers” (inspired by Stacy Adams footwear).
Congrats to Jeromyah and Stacy Adams. Creative retailers might consider fashion-inspired artwork as part of their selling floor décor.
