This year marks Aspesi’s 50th anniversary. And, in celebration of this milestone, the Italian brand is releasing a series of limited-edition items.

Launched last week, the first special item merges two of the brand’s iconic pieces, “13” and “C”, creating the new shirt, “Doppia 50”.

First introduced in 1988, “13” was the first shirt crafted from a technical material filled with a light padding. It broke the rule of what classic metropolitan style is with its versatility and multi-functionality. Conversely, the brand’s “C” shirt, created in 1985, is a cotton chambray shirt inspired by the world of American workwear. “Doppia 50” unites these two Aspesi icons, creating a new unisex reversible shirt-jacket in nylon and cotton chambray.

French artist Jonathan Binet helps celebrate the launch of “Doppia 50” with a special exhibition at the Aspesi Milan flagship store. The installation will be on display during Miart and Salone del Mobile through the end of April.

The new limited-edition shirt will be exclusively available at the Aspesi stores and online at Aspesi.com.
