Awl & Sundry SpringOnline shoe retailer Awl & Sundry and mobile shopping app Spring have collaborated on the shoemaker’s first sneaker: the Ombra. Made of midnight blue pebbled leather and black suede, the Ombra retails for $295.

The two companies have also collaborated on another shoe: the Alba. They are clean classic oxfords made from navy suede framed by a calf-grain toe and heel, and retail for $345.

“When you venture into collaboration, you want a partner that has consistently followed & built on a vision of providing style & quality across the board,” says Awl & Sundry founder Nikunj Marvania. “We’re proud to share in that vision, and these exclusive Spring x Awl & Sundry designs embody that ethos.”

“Our inspiration for this collaboration is an understated, intriguing guy who lives and works in NYC and has most of his adventures on foot,” adds Spring’s Andrew Shipman and Daniel Ortiz. “The shoes help him get to the office and look dope at his desk from 9 to 5, while the sneakers are for post-work perambulations like far-flung errands, casual dinners, and other fun times with friends. We partnered with Awl & Sundry because of its renowned commitment to quality, and its willingness to experiment with standard footwear forms.”
