Barbour Inc., the North American subsidiary of J. Barbour & Sons, Ltd. of Great Britain, has introduced Megan Taverna as the latest addition to its sales team. As senior key account manager of wholesale, Taverna will be responsible for Barbour’s Nordstrom menswear account, an integral piece of the brand’s U.S. department store distribution.

Taverna comes to Barbour with nearly 10 years of rich experience in the retail industry, having played many roles during her time with both Bloomingdale’s and Orvis. She most recently held the position of women’s omni-channel senior merchant with Orvis, and was based in New York, NY. She will continue to reside in the city and will work out of Barbour’s New York showroom.

“On behalf of the Barbour team, I am thrilled to welcome Megan to our growing sales team,” said Andy Hill, head of sales of Barbour Inc., North America. “Ms. Taverna brings with her a wide-range of omni-channel merchandising experience at key retailers, many of which we work with closely, making her the perfect candidate to handle one of our priority menswear accounts. With Ms. Taverna’s hire, we’re adding unique depth of experience and knowledge to our team as we look to continue increasing our wholesale distribution.”
