BARNEYS NEW YORK BRINGS ALFRED TEA TO NEW YORK FOR FIRST EAST COAST POP-UP
Starting this Friday, November 30, Barneys New York and Alfred Tea will launch the first Alfred Tea outpost on the East Coast with a pop-up at Barneys New York’s Madison Avenue flagship.
New Yorkers can experience this Los Angeles icon at the pop-up on the seventh floor, which features the signature Alfred Tea aesthetic, and will offer a variety of beverages and merchandise through the end of December. The menu includes an exclusive drink created for Barneys New York called “Matcha in Blue”.
Located on the seventh floor of the Barneys New York Madison Avenue store, the Alfred Tea pop-up space captures the brand’s signature Instagram-able style, with a light pink color scheme and Alfred Tea’s famous neon sign catchphrase “Tea Yes, You Maybe”.
On Friday, November 30, the Alfred Tea Pop-Up at Barneys New York Madison Avenue will offer a selection of Alfred Tea’s most popular fine tea and matcha beverages. Prices will range from $5 – $7.
This includes the exclusive Barneys New York “Matcha in Blue” drink, which features matcha, almond milk, butterfly blossom, mint, lavender, and vanilla. The drink is served either hot or cold and will be available for $7. “Matcha in Blue” was first served at thedropLA@barneys at Barneys New York’s Beverly Hills flagship in June.
As part of this project, Barneys New York and Alfred Tea have collaborated on an exclusive line of merchandise featuring a variety of new designs. These items will be sold exclusively in the pop-up space at Barneys New York Madison Avenue. Products include T-shirts, baseball hats, and mugs.
The pop-up space will also offer a range of iconic Alfred Tea merchandise. Products include pin sets, matcha tins, chocolate bars, and a variety loose leaf tea flavors.
The pop-up will run on weekends throughout December from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Below is the full schedule:
