Award-winning designer Billy Reid has designed a limited edition bow tie to support Tie The Knot, a non-profit organization founded by “Modern Family” actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband Justin Mikita that advocates LGBTQ equality and rights.

Available October 1 exclusively at Chicago-based men’s accessories destination The Tie Bar, the handmade silk creation is a spin on a standard camo print and color palette with a luxe finish not traditionally seen with camo. It will retail for $25, with $20 of every purchase going to Tie The Knot directly.

“Billy has been such a great friend to Tie The Knot and continues to be one of our favorite fashion designers,” Ferguson said in a statement. “We are so honored to have him create a bow tie design for us this fall as we continue the ongoing fight for LGBTQ rights.”

Tie the Knot was founded in 2012 with the goal of making marriage equality legal nationwide. Now that same-sex marriage is legally recognized in all 50 states, the organization has reset its focus to battling employment and housing discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

Tie The Knot releases limited edition collections of neckwear and other fashionable products that always feature one bow tie created by a celebrity guest designer. Its debut collection of bow ties was released in November 2012 and sold out in less than four weeks.
