BJI PRESIDENT BRITTON JONES RECEIVES ROBERT L. KRAKOFF SISO LEADERSHIP AWARD
Britton Jones, President and CEO of Business Journals, Inc (BJI) was presented with the Robert L. Krakoff SISO Leadership Award at the 2016 Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO) CEO Summit, which was held April 3-6 at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar.
The honor is awarded to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the face-to-face events industry throughout his or her career. Past recipients include Ned Krause (who presented to the award to Jones), Bob Harar, Sheldon Adelson, Mike Rusbridge, Nancy Hasselback, Peter Nathan, John Mooney and David Cheifetz.
“I remember my first SISO meeting when Galen Poss gave a presentation about the life cycle of a show and importance of evolving and continuing to progress,” said Jones. “It’s something I think about every single day. I am truly honored. This is a great recognition not only for me but also my team.”
