BOGGI MILANO’S U.S. EXPANSION PLAN DEBUTS IN NEW YORK CITY

by John Russel Jones

Italian menswear brand Boggi Milano has entered the U.S. market with an ambitious retail expansion plan, anchored by three major store openings in New York City. The brand, which currently has 244 locations in 60 countries, opened a boutique at 115 Mercer Street in SoHo earlier this year. Today marks the grand opening of a second location at 527 Madison Avenue (on the corner of East 54th Street). A third location in The Shops at Columbus Circle will open in June. The company projects a 2025 revenue of 420 USD million.

The lower level features a glassed-in private consultation area and dressing room.

Boggi Milano suits (tailored clothing makes up about 30 percent of the collection) retail for around $700 to $2,000, depending on construction. Polos and T-shirts cost around $200, and fine-gauge merino knits cost $250 to $300. Shoes run $300 or less. The brand’s S. Café collection incorporates coffee grounds to produce polyester yarn, which is combined with cotton to provide quick drying, UV protection, odor control, and cooling properties. The collection is focused on organic fibers, recycled materials, and certified performance fabrics, reflecting the brand’s commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility.

The Madison Avenue location is 5,920 square feet on two levels and features the complete Boggi Milano collection, including tailored, sportswear, and footwear. The Columbus Circle location will occupy 4,735 square feet, also on two floors.

“These openings aren’t just new stores—they represent a dream come true,” said Claudio Zaccardi, President, CEO, and Creative Director of Boggi Milano. “We’re bringing a contemporary vision of Italian menswear to the U.S., built on quality, craftsmanship, and timeless style—supported by an outstanding team and world-class product.”

New York is part of a larger U.S. expansion strategy, with plans to open stores in Miami, Chicago, Washington D.C., Boston, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco over the next five years. The brand will also expand its presence in key department stores, starting with Bloomingdale’s flagship store on 59th Street in New York City, with additional doors opening in July and September 2025. It’s also sold in El Corte Inglés, Harrods, and other European department stores.
