Boston-Based Clothing Retailer Fills Blank Slate Downtown

by MR Magazine Staff

A slice of downtown real estate was the perfect fit for a custom menswear store. Boston-based Blank Label opened Monday at Market Center downtown. The 1,900-square-foot space at 1360 17th St., Suite 102, is the company’s first walk-up retail store. Store manager Connor Lees helped launch the company’s second store in Boston before moving here to open the Denver Blank Label.    “We like to look for cities that don’t have a huge custom presence,” Lees said. “We put a lot of pride in the experience more so than just an online website that you look at.” Customers work with staff at Blank Label to fit clothes, which takes about two weeks to order the first round and make sure the fit is right. From there, the Blank Label staffer works with the customer by email. Customers cans also use their fit information to order online. Read more at Business Den.
