CHARLES GARONE PROMOTED TO MR PUBLISHER

“I’m thrilled to announce that Charles Garone has been promoted to Publisher of MR Magazine,” says Lizette Chin, Senior Vice President & Group Publisher of Fashion | Luxury at Wainscot Media.  “Charles possesses a passion and dedication for this industry and our publication that is both refreshing and inspiring. Furthermore, the menswear community holds a deep admiration for him! Charles’s main focus will be to continue enhancing sales at MR and within Wainscot Media’s custom program division while also contributing to the overall strategy and vision for the future of MR.”

Charles joined MR Magazine as Associate Publisher in 2021. The native New Yorker and graduate of Parsons School of Design began his career in the fashion industry at ENK International, where he served as Creative Director for 14 years. Reporting directly to Elyse Kroll, he was responsible for the branding and marketing of ENK and its portfolio of 22 annual exhibitions, including The Collective, Coterie, Accessorie Circuit, and others. In addition to his creative leadership role, Charles also served as Show Director for ENK’s men’s show, Designer’s Collective.

His other experiences include the launch of the Vanguard section at the MRket Show, as well as the creation of his own traveling menswear exhibition, Aquilon. More recently, Charles served as Director of Membership and Brand Development at Fashion Group International.

  11. Uncle Charlie congratulations on your promotion. You mean the world to me and you’re the best uncle I could or anyone could ever have. You and me have the best memories and I really couldn’t imagine a world without you. There’s infinite universes and I was super lucky to end up in yours. Hope to make so many more good memories with you and you’re lucky I can’t add a picture to this or you would be screwed. I’m super proud of from 4 years ago you were at your lows and know your in your highs getting promoted left and right. I know I tell you you’re not my father but you like my 2nd dad or step father I don’t know how to say it. I love hanging out with you and your the best 2nd father in the whole universe.
