CHARLES TYRWHITT OPENS IN GRAND CENTRAL TERMINAL

The United Kingdom-based menswear brand Charles Tyrwhitt has opened a new store at Grand Central Terminal in New York City. The new location marks an exciting milestone for the brand as it continues to grow its presence strategically in the U.S. market.

The new 2,280 sq. ft. brick-and-mortar location was designed to reflect the brand’s commitment to offer a premium menswear experience that combines British heritage with modern elegance. The new store will house Charles Tyrwhitt’s extensive range of shirts in various fits, collars, and colorways, formal and casual suiting, knitwear, smart casual attire, footwear, and accessories. The store features street-facing windows with two London telephone booths, cheeky neon signage that reads ‘Get Shirty,’ and a wall of neckties inspired by the modern look of the brand’s new London flagship on Regent Street.

Charles Tyrwhitt sells one white button-down shirt every 50 seconds, with an impressive total of 7 million shirts sold in 2023. By the end of 2024, the menswear expert aims to reach 7.5 million shirts sold, underscoring their belief that the button-down shirt that started it all is still the foundation of any professional wardrobe.

Charles Tyrwhitt has 12 retail locations in the U.S. in the New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Chicago, and Houston areas, and a website. The brand is also sold in Nordstrom and Macy’s.
