For the kids of the late ‘80s Manchester music scene, the essential choice in shoes were Clarks Wallabees. Perfect for those oversized Levi’s flare jeans and baggy parkas. And to compliment the ‘Loose Fix’ collection from Levi’s Vintage Clothing this season, which celebrates that ‘80s Manchester style, Levi’s Vintage Clothing has teamed up with Clarks Originals for the spring/summer 2021 season on three special-edition shoes.

Designed in conjunction with the seasonal spring/summer 2021 “Loose Fix” color palette, the Levi’s Vintage Clothing x Clarks Originals collection features three classic Clarks silhouettes in premium suede with nubuck detailing. First is the Wallabee, which comes in pink suede with mauve nubuck trim and mauve laces. Next is the Desert Boot, featuring Clarks’ classic two-piece suede construction in light blue with lavender laces. And finally, there’s the Weaver, which comes in two shades of sandy yellow suede with nubuck detail. Every pair also features the iconic Clarks crepe sole.

“When we were putting together the ‘Loose Fix’ collection, we thought it would be amazing to collaborate with Clarks to coincide with it,” said Paul O’Neill, head designer for Levi’s Vintage Clothing at Levi Strauss & Co. “They were really big in Manchester in the ‘80s and throughout the UK. I’ve probably been wearing them myself for the last 30 years. It’s just a really old-school approach to making shoes that are timeless, shoes people will always love. These are all traditional Clarks shoes with a contemporary approach to color.”

Levi’s Vintage Clothing x Clarks will be available for purchase globally on, the Levi’s App, select Levi’s stores on June 11th.
