CLARKS ORIGINALS RELEASES EXCLUSIVE WALLABEE BOOT STYLES AT BARNEYS NEW YORK
Iconic footwear brand Clarks Originals has teamed up with luxury specialty retailer Barneys New York on a special collection of the brand’s iconic Wallabee Boot, crafted in Italy from soft Kudu antelope leather.
Working with C. F. Stead (specialist tanners of unique leathers), Clarks Originals created the Wallabee Boot in three different colorways: light tan, brown and black. Rather than covering these unique details with synthetic coatings, C. F. Stead used differing blends of oils and waxes in order to enhance the features of these natural imperfections, which are a result of a lifetime in the wild. As a result, every shoe has unique characteristics, enriching both the appearance and individuality of each pair.
The collection is now available on Barneys.com and at select Barneys stores, for $250 for men’s styles and $110-$120 for kid’s styles.
