Global lifestyle brand and retailer Cole Haan is joining forces with street culture icon Jeff Staple to help celebrate the 20th anniversary of his Staple Design brand. Today, Cole Haan is launching its new 2.ZERØGRAND Stitchlite x Staple Design sneaker to mark the occasion.
“Working with Cole Haan represents an opportunity to show the world how far Staple Design has come in this — our 20th year of existence,” said Jeff Staple, founder of Staple Design. “To me Cole Haan is at the perfect intersection of innovation, sophistication and design. I am extremely proud that Staple can now be a part of its storied history.”
For this collaboration, Cole Haan constructed the original ZERØGRAND Stitchlite in a twisted yarn for a marbled spectator effect to create the classic Cole Haan wingtip design. The shoe’s functional zonal knitting ensures stability and breathability. Featuring a sleek grey colorway and iconic Staple Pigeon logo, the sneaker is priced at $300 and will be available exclusively on ColeHaan.com and in select Cole Haan stores.
“Cole Haan is incredibly honored to work with NYC’s cultural icon and influencer Jeff Staple and his Staple Design brand, especially on his 20th anniversary,” added Scott Patt, vice president of Design and Innovation at the Cole Haan Global Innovation Center in New Hampshire. “Jeff Staple and his work represents all that is New York in its grit, adaptation and individuality. This partnership is a celebration of these shared values and our dedication to craft, style and engineering in everything we make.”
