Cole Haan Launches Todd Snyder Collaboration
Cole Haan launched a six-piece footwear collaboration with designer Todd Snyder this week online, at Cole Haan flagship stores and Todd Snyder’s Townhouse flagship in Tokyo.
The first collection in what will be an ongoing collaboration includes chukka, loafer and oxford styles with retail prices ranging from $228 to $268. Colors in blues, tans, blacks, grays and ivories are described as a neutral palette.
“I have over 30 pairs of Cole Haan shoes that I have collected over the past 20 years that I used for inspiration,” said Snyder in a statement. “I wanted to re-create something from the past and update it for the modern gentleman.”
“Todd is one of the few designers that honors tradition while simultaneously disrupting and redefining it,” added Cole Haan’s chief marketing officer David Maddocks. “This inaugural collection brings forth an elegant collision of tradition and modernity that is both fresh and familiar.”
