Combatant Gentlemen Bloomingdale'sCalifornia-based retailer Combatant Gentlemen has entered into a partnership with luxury department store Bloomingdale’s with the debut of Summit Italy, a new line of fine, Italian-crafted pieces being produced under the technical and strategic direction of suit maker Alberto Caruso.

The six new suits and two new blazers, starting at $240, will first be available for one week in four Bloomingdale’s locations — SoHo, Tyson’s Corner, North Michigan Avenue and South Coast Plaza — before landing on Combatant Gentlemen’s website.

Beginning on October 13, each of these Bloomingdale’s locations will host a designated Combatant Gentlemen section, where customers can purchase both the Summit Italy line and a curated assortment of the company’s suits, outerwear, shirts, accessories and Toecap shoes, as well as use touchscreen displays to design personalized Made-To- Order suits and interact directly with trained tailors via Made-To-Measure appointments.

“As a young brand, we’re always looking to work with amazing partners, particularly in the offline space,” said Vishaal Melwani, CEO, creative director, and co-founder of Combatant Gentlemen. “We’re excited to collaborate with Bloomingdale’s in this capacity and celebrate further with the release of Summit Italy, a project we’ve poured our hearts into. Partnerships like these give us the insight we need to better assist our customers and grow as a company altogether. At the same time, it can bring new and exciting perspectives that make upscale stores more approachable to millennial shoppers.”

Added Sharon Wax, Bloomingdale’s SVP of Concessions, New Business Development and Designer RTW: “We are excited about the opportunity to introduce Combatant Gentlemen to the Bloomingdale’s consumer. This partnership appeals to our millennial customer who is looking for quality products with a modern sensibility at a fantastic price point. And the touchscreen displays allowing customers to design personalized suiting and interact with tailors adds an experiential element, something Bloomingdale’s continually seeks to offer our shoppers.”
