Cyber Monday

Cyber Monday (November 30) is expected to be the biggest online sales day ever recorded, surpassing $3 billion in sales, a 12 percent increase from last year according to survey estimates from Adobe Systems Inc. The “holiday,” which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, is expected to attract over 120 million shoppers.

While many shoppers are expected to focus on electronics and other home items, apparel offerings will be among the many discounted deals. Macys.com will have select men’s coats at 70 percent off; Amazon.com is offering sales on Kenneth Cole Reaction menswear; Target.com is offering discounts of more than 30 percent on selected men’s apparel; and luxury consignment site TheRealReal.com has savings of 60 percent on menswear from such top-name brands as Billy Reid, Gant, Loro Piano, Paul Smith, and many more.

Adobe also forecasts that 39 percent of shoppers will use their smartphones or tablets to visit retailers’ websites Monday.
