DALLAS MARKET CENTER TO HOST WEBINAR ON HOW RETAILERS CAN NAVIGATE TARIFFS

by Brett Edward Stout

Dallas Market Center will host a webinar, Adapting to Disruption: How Top Main Street Retailers Are Navigating Tariffs, on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 12 PM Central Time. The webinar, in partnership with the non-profit organization Heart on Main Street, aims to help retailers navigate tariffs, economic uncertainty, and policy impact on retail operations. Top independent retailers will gather for a timely conversation on how they’re adjusting for summer markets and the holiday season.

The panelists will include: Alison Dodson Anderson of A. Dodson’s, Sara Faircloth of Faircloth Boutique, Ashley Alderson of The Boutique Hub, Kenneth Ludwig of Kenneth Ludwig, Mary Liz Curtin of Leon and Lulu, and Beth Rich of Mix It Up.

“The reason behind this webinar is to bring retailers together to discuss honestly and openly the reality of tariffs, including the impact to their bottom line and any pivots they need to make. It’s critical that retailers discuss how to adjust their business as we near summer markets and deliveries for the holiday sales season,” says Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center.

Participants can register for the webinar here.

The webinar series over the next few months will include additional markets: Apparel & Accessories Market, June 10-13; Total Home & Gift Market, June 18-24, TEMPS 18-21; KidsWorld, June 18-24; Lightovation, June 18-21, and the Men’s Show, July 26-28.
