DAVIDOFF OF GENEVA OPENS IN BROOKFIELD PLACE
Swiss retail brand, Davidoff of Geneva, has officially opened its 2,000-square-foot flagship store and cigar lounge in lower Manhattan mall Brookfield Place.
The new store includes a walk-in humidor, a luxury lounge featuring furniture from Walter Knoll Germany and Poltrona Frau, a special chandelier created by Ontwerpduo, and a bespoke art installation by Dominican artist Pascal Meccariello celebrating the tobacco leaf, which is displayed in the lounge. In addition, private lockers are available for lease by customers looking to store their personal cigar collections.
In honor of the new store, the company has commissioned “The Downtown NYC Exclusive” cigar: an elegant and well-balanced cigar with an enjoyable creamy finish and a delicate sweet aroma filled with notes of roasted nuts and honey. It is only available at Brookfield Place, and retails for $25 per cigar or $250 for a box of 10.
