deveauxNew York-based luxury brand Deveaux has launched its first spring collection on its own e-commerce site, DeveauxNewYork.com.

Looking to the Greek Islands for inspiration when creating the collection, designers Matt Breen, Andrea Tsao and Patrick Doss set the tone for the latest offering by reflecting on the vacations of Jackie Kennedy and Audrey Hepburn, the illumination of the Islands when the sun sets over the Aegean Sea, and the colors, flow, and brushstrokes of artist Willem de Kooning.

While maintaining the brand’s fundamentals of minimalism and wear-ability from its debut season, Deveaux’s spring/summer ‘17 collection evokes a new essence of summer as an ultimate escape. Flowing and lightweight silhouettes made with silk, cotton, linen and soft leathers, introduce ease and functionality. Highlighted colors such as sunset orange, red oxide, Santorini blue and olive green derived from the Greek Islands are combined with new textures that are inspired from the rough and varied landscapes found along the Greek Coast.

“As with our fall/winter 2016 collection, we wanted to present sophisticated enhancements of wearable, classic men’s wear pieces, combined with simple, unique silhouettes that would lend themselves well to any man’s wardrobe,” said Matt Breen, co- founder of Deveaux.

Look for Deveaux’s second spring 2017 collection drop on March 7.
