dignity u wearAlways at the forefront of helping those in need, Dignity U Wear’s warehouse team readied 14 pallets, (over 28,000 units, valued at $500,000) of brand new t-shirts, pants, socks and underwear to be distributed to families who have lost their homes due to the devastating floods in West Virginia. Product donations were from corporate sponsors including Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein; CSX donated the freight.

Says Barbara Truncellito, Dignity’s executive director, “While not our core business, Dignity U Wear is honored to be of assistance in times of greatest need and proud to work with our longtime corporate partners CSX and PVH and the many volunteers who are on the ground to make a difference to those suffering from this tragedy.”

To continue this type of disaster relief and other good deeds, Dignity U Wear has just announced its fifth annual fundraiser to be held on October 26, 2016 at Manhattan’s Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 West 18th Street. For more information please visit www.dignityuwear.org.
