Danish footwear and leather goods maker Ecco has launched a pop-up shop in Miami Beach, Fla., coinciding with the brand’s 60th Anniversary, open during May and June at 701 Lincoln Rd. The 3,000-square-foot store is near Birkenstock, Lululemon, Crocs, Nike, Athleta, and many other popular retailers.

The space resembles a modern art gallery, with free-standing white walls full of bright splashes of color from Ecco products. It will feature a live social media moment and a DIY area for shoppers to engage and express their creativity.

Ecco will showcase its popular Cozmo sandals for men, women, and children, as well as its new Cozmo slide. The men’s Cozmo Two Band Sandal, retailing for $100, is already a best-seller at the shop.

Florida is a key market for the brand in the U.S., and the brand anticipates that the Miami Beach pop-up will offer an important boost for introducing the brand to a broader demographic. “We absolutely love the energy in Miami and want to be part of the excitement that exists there. We have a huge customer base in the surrounding area and want to introduce ourselves to a wider audience,” says Tom Berry, CEO of Ecco USA.
