Peerless president John Tighe announced on Friday that Eric Jennings, former men’s fashion director at Saks Fifth Avenue and founding partner of E2 Brand Management (which will continue under the direction of Erik Ulin), will join the New York-based tailored clothing company as VP/Creative Director. He will be responsible for advertising, marketing, public relations, sales support, and trend forecasting.  Jennings takes over for Suzanne Anderson who left the company late last year.

“We are delighted to have Eric join our talented Peerless team: his deep knowledge of tailored clothing, men’s fashion and retailing are tremendous assets,” notes Tighe.

Jennings is truly excited about the opportunity. “I love what Peerless has been doing from a fashion and merchandising perspective, especially at Macy’s where their many well-recognized brands have afforded tremendous growth. I’m excited to use my creativity and trend forecasting ability on a larger scale, while continuing to explore all the new ways to market, sell and wear tailored clothing.”

In addition to Saks, Jennings has held such positions as brand director of Hickey Freeman’s “hickey” collection and has also worked at Hugo Boss, Giorgio Armani and Nordstrom.
