ERMENEGILDO ZEGNA OPENS NEW BOUTIQUE IN HOUSTON

by Stephen Garner

Ermenegildo Zegna has opened a new boutique at The Galleria, an upscale shopping mall located in the Uptown District of Houston, Texas.

Opened in December 2020, the Italian luxury brand’s latest boutique in Houston features the brand’s leisurewear, modern tailoring, shoes, and accessories collections, as well as its made-to-measure experience.

Designed by Zegna’s in-house architects, the new space blends tradition with modernity through a contemporary combination of furniture and distinctive interior elements. The sophisticated atmosphere is elevated by a luxurious selection of woods, metals, and stones chosen as key design materials to complement the elegant décor.

The boutique is complemented by a careful selection of design elements including four Cassina armchairs designed by Pierre Jeanneret, Tato table designed by Ignazio Gardella (1951) with Knoll Brno chairs designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (1930), a nod to 20th-century design.

  1. Not surprised…after David Smith in the Dallas/Fort Worth area brought consumer awareness to the “brand”, Houston was the obvious choice. This hurts…especially in a time like this.

  2. WOW! Talk about a total disregard for those who “brought you to the dance”!
Obviously, Zegna’s strategy has nothing to do with relationships. Whatever
happened to the concept of a vendor protecting their their existing clients
relative to the distribution in a marketplace? Murray deserves better than this!!
