Swedish luxury shirt company Eton is serving up a tennis-inspired theme for its newly released high summer collection.

Taking inspiration from one of the most stylish sports in the world, Eton’s sartorial take this season features quintessential summer fabrics including seersucker, piqué jersey, and linen to create a line with classical looks with athletic elegance.

All garments are made in the most luxurious breathable materials to be worn in the hot summer weather, in order to retain an effortless style. Playful prints and details that pay tribute to the golden days of tennis stand side by side with clean tailored designs.

The color palette is taken from vintage tennis posters that date back to the 1920s. These are also the main inspiration for print designs found on both shirts and accessories. Another theme of inspiration is the iconic style of tennis icons like Björn Borg and John McEnroe.

“We wanted to capture all the historical highlights of tennis fashion in the very same collection – from the preppy 1920s styles to the retro sporty 1970-80s styles,” said Sebastian Dollinger, chief creative officer at Eton. “Personally, I absolutely consider tennis to be the most stylish sport out there.”
