EYEKING OPENS NEW DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT STUDIO IN IRVINE
Leading performance eyewear company Eyeking has announced the opening and staffing of a design and development studio in Irvine, California.
The Irvine-based design team will concentrate on category innovations in the performance, lifestyle sunglass and optical collections for the company. With over 40 years of collective eyewear experience, this group will be focused on delivering exciting and innovative eyewear products for Eyeking’s license partners including Under Armour Eyewear and Hobie Polarized.
“The opening of our new California design and development studio marks a significant moment in Eyeking’s history as we bring together for the first time our talented creative team under one roof,” said Scott Betty, senior VP of Design for Eyeking. “It’s an exciting new chapter for Eyeking, and we’re confident the work generated in the California design studio will greatly benefit the brands we support as we look to 2017 and beyond. Most importantly, this new office is conveniently located in Irvine, with easy access to premium retail and nearby collaborative partners, as well as 300 plus days of sunshine a year.”
