FARFETCH DEBUTS PRE-ORDER SERVICE

by Stephen Garner

FARFETCH has launched a Pre-Order service for the first time alongside a low-carbon brand and marketing campaign.

Officially launching today, FARFETCH’s new Pre-Order service offers clients early access to the best seasonal and core styles, and the opportunity to pre-order from top luxury brands. The initial launch will include Off-White, Palm Angels, Dolce & Gabbana, Balenciaga, New Balance Collabs, Khaite, Casablanca, Nanushka, Oscar de la Renta, and Nicholas Kirkwood who will be introducing pre-order for the very first time through the luxury shopping platform. Pre-Order will continue with monthly drops of new brands four weeks before they are available to purchase normally, giving FARFETCH clients an exclusive look at the season ahead.

Additionally, the company has created a brand and marketing campaign to mark the Pre-Order launch without shipping a single sample. Utilizing technology from DressX, key ready-to-wear pieces from the Pre-Order are digitally worn by models and will be part of a larger social media campaign. Accessories will be digitally rendered by Threedium, focusing on movement and materials of the product to highlight the pieces.
