FASHION SCHOLARSHIP FUND LAUNCHES VIDEO SERIES

by Karen Alberg Grossman

As the country’s largest fashion education and workforce preparedness organization, the Fashion Scholarship Fund (FSF) has been providing scholarship, internship, and employment opportunities to talented and deserving students for more than 80 years. Confirms executive director Peter Arnold, “We give more scholarships than any other organization in the country to students who are pursuing careers in the fashion industry. Now, more than ever, we need to continue our mission, especially since many of our regular corporate partners are fighting for survival.”

Toward this end, FSF has produced a video series ( called “Now, More Than Ever”) created as a grassroots effort to generate awareness and financial support for FSF scholars and alumni. These gifted young people are passionate about careers in the fashion industry, but their dreams and ambitions have been upended by lost summer internships, rescinded job offers, furloughs, and lay-offs due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Videos from this series may be viewed here.
