FGI HONORS DONRAD DUNCAN OF EFM WITH RISING STAR AWARD
On January 28, The Fashion Group International hosted the annual Rising Star Awards at Cipriani Wall Street where designer Donrad Duncan of EFM (Engineered for Motion) won the Rising Star Award for the menswear category.
The Rising Star awards were created in 1957 to recognize emerging talents in the fashion and design industry. Categories include: Accessories; Beauty/ Fragrance Entrepreneur; Beauty/Fragrance Corporate; Home/Interior Design, Fine Jewelry; Men’s Apparel, Retail, and Women’s Ready-to-Wear. The Rising Star Awards support the Fashion Group mission’s to promote the career development of innovative leaders.
EFM, which recently showed at MRket NY’s new MOVE section sponsored by Equinox, transforms high performance fabric innovation into luxury sportswear by taking the essentials of the active urban male’s wardrobe.
