FOOTBALLER ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC PERSONALIZES DSQUARED2’S NEW ‘ICON’ CAPSULE
Dsquared2’s new spring/summer 2021 ‘Icon’ capsule collection features pieces personalized by Swedish football champion Zlatan Ibrahimović. An icon on and off the field, Ibrahimović’s profile portrait, shot by Giampaolo Sgura, becomes a graphic element of the collection, appearing printed on the back of a nylon jacket, and on the front of sweatshirts with a powerful quote by the footballer about the sport.
For this capsule, the Icon logo is combined with the footballer’s last name and the brand’s lettering in red. The Ibrahimović Icon capsule includes denim jeans in black and blue washes, a denim shirt, a leather biker jacket, jersey sweatshirts, and T-shirts in black or white.
Linking the collection in a personal way to Ibrahimović is a replica of his tattoo which reads ‘Only God Can Judge Me’ printed on a fitted T-shirt on the side of the waist – the same place where the footballer has it inked. The collection also includes kids’ sweatshirts and T-shirts, beach shorts, bags, low-top sneakers, baseball caps, and underwear nickname ‘Ibra’ on the front of the waistband.
The limited-edition Icon Ibrahimović x Dsquared2 capsule is available now in all Dsquared2 channels and selected retailers.
