FOOTWEAR BRAND MALLET LONDON POP’S UP AT FRED SEGAL

by Stephen Garner

Footwear brand Mallet London has opened a new pop-up shop at Fred Segal that runs through the month of May. The Los Angeles-based retailer will be the first in the U.S. to offer the collection.

Founded by unconventional entrepreneur Tommy Mallet and his friend and business partner, Evren Ozkarakasli, in 2015, the London-based brand, which has gained popularity throughout the U.K. and Europe, is now available for purchase at FredSegal.com, and exclusively in-store at Fred Segal’s Flagship on Sunset Blvd.

Mallet London’s Fred Segal launch will include over 33 shoe and clothing styles including an exclusive navy tracksuit with red and white trim that pays homage to the retailer with Mallet’s signature “M” featuring hand-sketched hearts.

“Fred Segal has a long history of helping to launch notable international brands and we are proud to be among the first retailers in the U.S. to carry Mallet London,” said Brian Nyalis, vice president of merchandising and brand development. “The brand has already seen such great success overseas and we could not be more excited to help them make a huge splash stateside.”

“What an exciting time to be featured in Fred Segal as the brand celebrates 60 years,” added Tommy Mallet. “When I started sketching footwear six years ago I never dreamed Mallet would reach so many places around the globe. Being a part of the history of such an iconic U.S. brand is truly an honor.”

The Mallet London collection ranges from $170 to $300 and is now available on fredsegal.com and exclusively in-store at Fred Segal’s Flagship on Sunset Blvd.
