Gang Of Thieves Swipe $40K In Mackage Coats In New York

These crooks have the cops on their coattails. A gang of high-rolling robbers broke into a Lower Manhattan clothing store and grabbed $40,000 worth of boutique coats, police said Saturday. The six men were caught on surveillance video using a heavy object to smash in the glass front door of the Mackage Clothing Boutique on Mercer Street at about 11 p.m. Thursday, officials said. The thieves—one wearing a silver skull mask—are then seen running through the broken entryway and grabbing armfuls of winter coats and jackets.
