THIS IS GROUND RELEASES FRAMEWORK BRIEFCASE
Four-year-old, Los Angeles-based leather goods company This Is Ground is launching the Framework Briefcase on August 17. Designed in California and handcrafted in Italy, the briefcase is available in charcoal, cognac, mole and toffee and sells for $625.
Crafted of veg tanned Italian leather, the silhouette is inspired by one of the oldest and most classic forms of a men’s daily carry – a classic briefcase. This is Ground refined the classic shape and structure of a traditional briefcase by adding their signature cord and tech organizational needs to this new item.
Inside, the modern interior contains slots for a laptop up to 15″, a tablet, a pen/stylus and more. The clean, soft shell exterior includes a back pocket that unzips to slip on a roller’s handle when traveling. It measures 15.5″ W x 11.25″ H x 2.25″ and weights just two pounds.
