Hampshire Group Names Drozdowski Interim CFO
Hampshire Group has named William Drozdowski as its interim chief financial officer through an agreement with consulting firm GRL Capital Advisors. Hampshire fired its previous CFO, Trey Darwin, earlier this month.
Drozdowski has been with GRL Capital Advisors for eight years, serving as CFO and financial advisor for 13 different clients. He has also served as controller for Urban Brands and director of finance for Petrie Retail Inc.
“Bill’s strong background in a broad range of financial management, analysis and turnaround functions makes him a perfect fit to take over leadership of our financial organization for the near term while we seek a permanent CFO,” said CEO Paul Buxbaum. “Additionally, he has significant experience in leading the finance function for apparel retailers, so he has a deep understanding of our business and that of our customers. We look forward to working with Bill as we progress with Hampshire’s turnaround efforts.”
