Hedi Slimane Is Releasing Celine’s First Fragrances Since 1964

Since taking the helm at Céline (now Celine) in early 2018, Hedi Slimane has made headlines by steering the French fashion house in drastically new directions. After adding menswear to the brand’s portfolio, promising a couture collection in the future, and redesigning the New York flagship with a minimalist architectural concept, the bold yet elusive designer has entered yet another sector of the industry, teasing a fragrance launch on Instagram. The luxury brand has not released a fragrance since Vent Fou in 1964, but it seems all we have to do is get through fashion month before a new (and certainly viral) vision of Celine perfume arrives. Under the name “La Collection Celine Haute Parfumerie,” the fashion house is releasing 11 new scents, all androgynous and versatile for both day and night. Read more at L’Officiel.
