IF Mark Zuckerberg wanted an upgrade from his trademark shower sandals, it might look like Uri Minkoff’s hip new slide, the “Union.” “It’s a cross between a streamlined slipper, a Vans and a Toms,” says the 40-year-old creative director and chief executive. This is a typical Minkoff mashup: a mix of what he finds cool and covetable in one sleek, urban piece. He started his eponymous label in 2013 with man bags, added shoes last fall, and his 11-piece menswear collection drops this August. His line is a blend of American ease, Scandinavian minimalism and unexpected Japanese details and color combos, a look he describes as “new, modern, global citizen of style.” Read more at New York Post.
