Recently, I read a CNN article about Amazon Go stores. In it, the author describes a future of retail stores where there is not a single human cashier, register or self-service stand. Amazon Go stores aim to make shopping as fluid and comfortable as possible for the customer. You walk in, scan your phone with a personal barcode from the Amazon app and pick up your items as hundreds of cameras scan every movement in the store and you place items into your cart.
