jcrew swimFor the entire month of May (Skin Cancer Awareness Month), J.Crew will be partnering with Melanoma Research Alliance and The Skin Cancer Foundation, donating to each organization a portion of the sale price of every men’s and women’s swimsuit sold to support skin cancer research and prevention, up to a total of $25,000.

“We’ve decided to support skin cancer research and prevention for Skin Cancer Awareness Month because it affects everyone,” said Jenna Lyons, president and creative director of J.Crew Group, Inc. “It doesn’t hurt to know you’re giving back and getting a new suit you love for the beach… we’re counting the hours to summer, but no one wants to be counting sunburns.”

The J.Crew swim collection is available to shop online and in store now. In addition, from May 12 through May 15, J.Crew will be hosting swim pop-up shops in select stores across the country.
