JackThreads Hires Tony Kretten as Creative Director of Commerce

Jack-Threads-150x150Tony Kretten is the latest member to join the JackThreads team, as creative director of commerce. Kretten will be responsible for launching of the company’s first vertical brand, set to debut on the retailer’s website for fall.

Kretten said in a statement, “There is a white space in the marketplace for a brand like JackThreads to occupy a huge opportunity to be that one-stop destination for young, everyday, real guys. Thrillist Media Group is the future of how e-commerce businesses communicate with their customers and I want to be a part of building a company of the future.”

Formerly head of men’s global design at Gap, Kretten comes to Thrillist Media Group with over 20 years of design and branding experience.

Jason Ross founded JackThreads in 2008, out of his home, and Thrillist Media Group acquired the company in 2010.
