Korean designer Junn.J, whose creative research in menswear continues to attract the attention of the international fashion community, will present his menswear collection for the first time in Florence with a one-of-a-kind event. Juun.J is the first menswear guest designer at Pitti Uomo from Korea.

Taking center stage will be the creativity of his fashion in 3D: “street tailoring” crossed by classical references, which skillfully blends Asian roots and tailoring heritage, rigid silhouettes and futuristic volumes, military influences and Parisian cosmopolitanism.

Along with this announcement, Pitti Immagine has also named contemporary Italian-based designer Marco De Vincenzo as the womenswear guest designer. The fashion designer, originally from Messina, Sicily, has 15 years of collaboration with the Fendi fashion house behind him, and he still designs its accessories collection. In 2009 he created his own brand, and 2014 saw the start of a joint venture with the LVMH group.

Additionally, Adidas Originals by White Mountaineering has been announced as the designer project this season. A special event in which the codes of Adidas Originals will be reinterpreted by Yosuke Aizawa, the force behind the Japanese White Mountaineering brand, for a menswear collection with a highly innovative approach that combines tradition and technical materials, design and functionality.
