Founded in California in 1966, heritage American tennis brand K-Swiss celebrates its 50th anniversary this year with the launch of a limited edition anniversary footwear collection and its new 50 Love campaign this month. This celebratory collection entitled ‘The Anniversary Pack’ introduces five updated models for the U.S. market, including: The Classic ’66, Irvine, The Classic VN, Surf ‘N Turf, and Hoke, retailing between $60 and $150.

“When you talk about sneaker brands with deep history and longevity, it is a very exclusive group,” said Ashley Girard, senior director of global marketing & e-commerce. “K-Swiss is one of the definitive brands, and the creator of one of the most iconic sneakers in history, the K-Swiss Classic. We’re so proud to celebrate the brand’s 50th Anniversary.”

The K-Swiss Classic ’66 anniversary edition will carry the exact features and design as the original model that was introduced at Wimbledon in 1966 and is recreated with meticulous attention to detail. Hand assembled in the United States, the Classic ‘66 will be limited to 1,966 numbered pairs globally.

Additionally, the new 50 Love campaign will be supported with print and digital advertising, custom packaging and in-store displays. Social media engagement will occur via an Instagram activation encouraging followers to “Share the Love” – by tagging five friends for a chance to win a new pair of K-Swiss shoes for themselves and their friends. Moreover, every week from February to December, one special customer will receive a “Golden Ticket” with a promotional code for $50.00 off their next online order. The 50th Anniversary styles are available online and in-store at select specialty retailers across the globe.
