As streetwear brand and retailer Kith prepares to celebrate its 5th year of business, proprietor Ronnie Fieg has some surprises up his sleeve. Which is nothing new to fans of his limited edition, to-be-bragged-about sneaker and streetwear offerings. First up, is a celebratory collaboration with the hip French boutique Colette. “The first time I went to Paris—I believe it was in 2009, 2010—I remember seeing Colette before I started building my shop,” he says. “I think [Colette founder] Sarah [Lerfel] is a genius. She’s very meticulous and takes the shop so seriously. In the mornings she’s there, organizing and cleaning, she’s there every Sunday for the floor move. She may be even more passionate than I am,” Fieg says, before adding, with a laugh, “And that’s saying a lot.” Read more at GQ.
