KITH PARTNERS WITH MALIN+GOETZ ON SECOND APOTHECARY COLLECTION
Native New Yorker retailer Kith has partnered with fellow NYC-based brand Malin+Goetz to create a second collection of apothecary goods with a new scent and concept, titled Rogue. The name takes its roots from Kith’s signature color palette, which comes to life through both packaging design and formulas. The line is comprised of five products, including an eau de parfum, bar soap, hand and body wash, body lotion, and candle. Each carries the signature scent, Rogue, which was custom developed by Malin+Goetz through the Kith lens.
The concept behind Rogue began with the color but evolved into a sensory experiment of what the color represents, with inspiration derived from locations that have served as backdrops in Kith’s campaigns over the years.
Rogue is an olfactive interpretation of a warmly lit room, embellished with modern art, leather, and wood. Rogue is dark yet familiar, blending notes of earthy beetroot, clove, and pink pepper infused with intoxicating saffron and leather that intertwine with woody orris root to reveal a sultry, addicting, and genderless scent. Color theory takes center stage in this fragrance with the use of color-specific ingredients such as beetroot and violet leaves to create a sensorial connection.

It’s been an incredible process developing these scents and apothecary goods with Malin+Goetz as I believe they are truly the best in class for this category.
