LE CLUB ORIGINAL LAUNCHES SUSTAINABLE SWIMWEAR COLLECTION

by Stephen Garner

Le Club Original has launched a new sustainable swimwear collection.

The vibrant collection is made using recycled plastic bottles which are broken down and converted into polyester fibers and made into exceptional swimwear.

Each piece uses anywhere from nine to twelve plastic bottles which helps in reducing single-use plastic waste. The Miami-based swimwear brand for men and boys has set a goal of becoming fully sustainable by 2023 and the launch of the new sustainable collection is a milestone in reaching that objective.

The collection offers two styles for men: the brand’s original silhouette that has an elastic waistband and a newly created, flat-panel waistband for a more tailored look. The styles are offered in both 5.5” and 7” inseams. The sustainable capsule collection is available on both the Le Club e-commerce website as well as in specialty retail stores across the country and Caribbean. The collection starts at $99 for men’s styles and $88 for boy’s styles.

“As a brand rooted in beach life, it’s clear to us we have to do something to counteract the current pollution levels,” said Billy Little, Le Club’s VP of Operations and Design. “By manufacturing our products using plastic waste, we’re not only offering top quality swimwear to our customers, but also doing our part to make a positive change that helps our planet.”
